Our client, a popular visitor attraction in Surrey, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor. This is a great opportunity to lead a dedicated team. You will enhance the guest experience for this 250 seater fast paced restaurant all year round and, in the summer, oversee an additional 100 covers.

This role offer family friendly hours of Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with alternative weekends and no evenings.

Position Overview

As the Restaurant Leader, you will be central to our client's success. You will manage all catering operations and an area dedicated for childrens play. Your leadership will ensure excellent service and achieve commercial targets. This role is key to creating memorable visits for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and motivate the catering and play barn team.
  • Oversee daily catering operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Manage the guest experience within the indoor play facility.
  • Achieve sales and margin targets within the set budget.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food regulations.
  • Handle team recruitment, training, rotas, and performance reviews.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and menu development processes.
  • Coordinate and host children's parties and group events.
  • Resolve customer feedback and complaints in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a hospitality or food service role.
  • Strong skills in coaching, developing, and motivating teams.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and time-management abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets and meeting commercial targets.
  • A thorough understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Food Safety Level 3 qualification is essential.
  • First Aid at Work certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience in a visitor attraction is desirable but not essential.
